Amanda Trang Pham-Huynh is an estate planning and business law attorney based in San Jose, California, bringing a unique blend of legal skill, personal resilience, and real-life experience to every family she serves.
Amanda’s story begins long before her legal career. She came to America as a Vietnamese refugee at just four years old, traveling by boat with her family in search of safety, stability, and the chance to build a new life. Raised by immigrant parents who worked tirelessly as small business owners, she learned early what sacrifice, perseverance, and love for family truly look like. These experiences shaped her deep appreciation for legacy, security, and the desire to help others protect what matters most.
Amanda graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Political Science and later earned her law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. Instead of going straight into legal practice, she followed the entrepreneurial path she grew up witnessing. For nearly two decades, she built businesses from the ground up, owning a tapioca boba shop, running restaurants, managing real estate investments, and becoming a licensed insurance agent. These years taught her more about family dynamics, financial stress, risk, and long-term planning than any textbook ever could.
When she eventually chose to practice law, she brought all of that life experience with her. Today, Amanda combines her legal training with the compassion of someone who has lived the immigrant experience, faced the pressures of business ownership, and built a career through determination, adaptability, and heart.
Amanda works closely with multicultural families, immigrants, first-generation professionals, and business owners who need legal guidance that feels both supportive and culturally aware. She understands Vietnamese well, and although speaking it can be challenging at times, she uses translation support when needed to make sure every client feels fully heard, respected, and understood. Her clients value this honesty, warmth, and willingness to meet them exactly where they are.
Amanda founded Xanh Law, PC with one purpose: to make high-quality legal planning accessible, approachable, and deeply personal. When you work with her, you receive more than legal documents, you gain a trusted partner who understands your journey, honors your story, and protects your family’s future with both skill and heart.
